I placed Hurricane shutter order with this company in 08/2008. This project is still not completed in 03/2010. They started the project fine until they got all their money. They are very non-professional people. Once they done installing the shutters, they have to go through mandatory Inspection from the city. Cities usually check if installation is done as per the building code and as per plans submitted to the City. They failed the Inspection as it was not installed correctly. Since then company stopped picking up my phone and returning my voice mails or emails. Now initial permit expired and City send me(Owner) a code violation notice and court hearing. I now have to hire new contractor, open new permit, spend more money to get the project finish. If I don’t finish the inspection on time, City may impose a fine up to $1000/day per violation. Stormshield is still not responding to my phone calls or emails to resolve this issue. DON’T TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE.
