I moved from Palo Alto to San Francisco (30 miles) on a Saturday morning, and I hired FixPrice Move. Overall, I am very satisfied with this company: the movers showed up on time the day of the move, they were very professional (polite, fast, and efficient), and the final bill was very reasonable (below what I expected actually, because they took less time than estimated to load and then unload their truck). They were honest (honestly, I was a bit nervous to hire movers, because of the bad reputation of some companies in this business), and they did not break anything during the move (all our belongings arrived in perfect condition in the new apartment).
The only surprise I had is that I did not know they are not allowed to carry green plants, and therefore I had to take care of my plants myself, but that really was a very minor issue.
I definitely recommend this company and I will use them again next time I move.
