My experience with Escape to Paradise is similar to the others I have read. In April 08 I was contacted by Melinda. She was very interested in advertising my timeshare. I was quite busy at the time and took about two weeks to decide. During that time I received at least one phone call a day from Melinda to let me know that they had customers very interested in my location. I finally decided to pay the $400 and list with Melinda on April 18, 2008. After that I never heard from her again. I have called and left messages with a phone operator and with Mathew almost every day for the past 7 weeks. I have never received a return phone call. Mathew did tell me that Melinda said to stop calling, she would call me when the property has a buyer. I understand their obligation is only to advertise the property which they have done. I am very disappointed in myself for believing the hype Melinda told me about interested buyers. At this point I know they won't sell my property, but I would still like Melinda to return a phone call.
