My issue with Care Credit is doctors offices are very quick to encourage you to use them when you are at your most vulnerable...in pain, sitting at a doctors office, unsure of how you are going to pay, and looking at a large medical bill. What wasn't explained well to me was how much the interest increases once the promotional period is over, heck-I don't know if my doctors office is aware of this. Now I am drowning in this one medical debt, not because I dont want to pay but because I can get ahead of the hiked up interest rate and the non promotional rate. Every month I am afraid to look the bill because who knows if there is some other hidden clause that will allow for the interest to continue to go up.
