WE had a problem with our dishwasher, would not start.
American Appliance sent out a technician quickly, within a few hour's.
However once he arrived he spent about 15 minutes, pulled out the front of the machine,and said we needed "rewiring" connections at a cost of $5.00, LABOR- $125,00, I paid him the $35.00 fee for estimate and asked him to leave because something didn't seem right.
My husband and bought a new dishwasher for $250.00. The last one was 7 years old we did not to spend $130 on a machine with "eletrical" problems.
When my husband installed the new machine we found the problem.....
The cord to plug into outlet was obvioiusly broken or chewed on by a little rat!
Had this technician checked the cord, this would have been a $10 REPAIR!!
I called and told the manager the situation. It's been over a week and they have not offered to pay us back for the service call.
So BEWARE!! I do not feel this company really cares about customer service or their reputation.
